Since there is likely a number of PF's at the 6 position.  I like Vonleh a lot.
What do you all think Sullingers trade value is around the league?

I think we should be able to trade him for the #1 pick this year.

Not very good.

You might be able to get more value in a trade if you deal Jared from the Subway commercials.

I was thinking around the 15th  pick in this years draft is the value we can get.

His value is high enough that aside from a Love type of trade, we should hold onto him and find out what he can become.

He's solid but nothing special. Could pan out into a 20/10 guy, but probably not. 16/9 seems more likely but there are a plethora of those kind players in the league.

He's a very good throw in for a Love type trade or an add in of some sort but for a straight up 1-1 you wont get much

I would take nothing less than the first three picks this year.... And maybe next year too.

I think he's perceived as a role player who has many teams uncertain about whether or not he is a long-term starter in the league.  Teams will probably not trade for him under the assumption that he has the potential to be a core member of a playoff team.

I would like to believe Sully's value would be pretty decent. But at the same time, with his injuries and playing out of position its hard  to get a taker to give up similar established talent to equal up to what the C's feels he can be worth

People always talk about Sullinger like he's a finished product & been in the league for 10 years. The kid is 22 & has basically played just one year.

If you have to put a value tag on his head, I agree with the post that said his value was equal to around the 15th pick of this years draft.

No way do you trade him for the 15th pick however. I think he'll be better than Randle & Vonleh when it's all said & done, & they'll both go top ten.  I would package him up to land Love of course, because Love is a top 10 player in this league & still young.

It really does depend on who you talk with on this site. Some feel he's worth a top ten pick and more. Id rather have Vonleh or Randle and I have stated that in past threads, but Sullinger is proven in the NBA, and that is the difference. Randle and Vonleh could be busts, theres always that chance.

Theres not a plethora of guys in the league that average 20/10 or 16/9....there were only 9 guys that average 10 or more rebs a game and 15 that average 9 and more.

The overall consensus in the chat I find overwhelmingly in favour of Sullinger being nothing more than a player who we would ship out as soon as we could if given the chance. Why would other teams want him if we dont rate him?

He has played 1 full-ish season and done pretty well. He was arguably our top player last season and is only 22. If he is going to be traded outside any Love deal then we should be able to get a better value than #15 pick.

Some are willing to see Rondo (a top 3 PG in the league!!) go for #8 + McLemore (a horrible player at most considering how he sucked last year). Personally, I find it an insult and wouldnt take anything outside top 4 if we are to trade Rondo for picks this year (plus more).

Danny Ainge will get maximum for us as we got so much leverage with our future picks. He v?cannot go wrong with any deal to be honest.
In Danny Ainge I Trust!

About the same as Houston's Terrence Jones.
