Do you think  the Bucks would consider trade #2 for Rondo and #17? Maybe we could include a future first. I'd be down for that. :)
Green 18!

if we target/draft embiid, rondo is as good as gone, to put it simply with embiid's health being an issue in the future and him not even being able to play for the first half of the year rajon most likely will not want to stick around and wait it out, and then be traded
if rondo gets traded jeff green is the next domino to fall, i think the deal in place for jeff green would be with the wizards centered around otto porter
(all this obviously depends on how the draft plays out) if this happened my dream and ideal scenario would be to trade rondo for the 7th or 8th picks plus more (for the lakers it would be nash expiring plus another pick and sac would prob be ben mclemore maybe another pick)  take 6th pick and 17th pick and maybe another pick to move up and draft dante exum (whether that means the sixers like vonleh or randle so we can move up or orlando likes smart so we can move up...once again this would probably have to be in the perfect situation)
- new lineup and core would include otto porter, dante exum, joel embiid, sully, kellyo, avery bradley, maybe ben mclemore
and that lineup would although talented, get another high draft pick the next 2 years, especially with embiid's status next year being up in the air

Only 2 decent trade possibilities for rondo

To rockets with green for asik, lin, parsons

To kings for 8th and mclemore

I like either and I agree.  I think the rockets would have to include a pick coming our way.

Are the Kings trading for Rondo when he's not staying there after next year? Only way we get decent value for him is if it's to a contender that he may resign with.

Just saying if I was Orlando and Rondo was willing to do a sign and trade, I'd take Rondo/Olynyk and maybe the #17th for the 4th in a heart beat. You get a proven point guard in his prime ( I expect next season to be Rondos best) Olynyk who should become a very solid 6th man, maybe even a starer eventually and you still have the 12th and #17th pick in a loaded draft.

No.  They are in play for remaining top 2/3 guys (Parker, Wiggins and Exum) so the cost of their pick is much higher.

Next year's free agent class will include Marc Gasol, LaMarcus Aldridge, Paul Milsap and possible Love and Al Jefferson.  None of those guys will even consider Boston if Rondo is gone.

Unless Rondo specifically tells Ainge he's leaving, there's no way Rondo is getting traded.

Why on earth are people so in love with McLemore? He's awful. Why on earth is him and the 8th a fair trade for Rondo? You don't trade a proven All-Star for a proven bust and an unknown. That's putting cents on the dollar.
