So far, according to a source, they have offered the Nos. 6 and 17 picks in this years draft, Kelly Olynyk and one of their own future No. 1 picks. They also own two more first-rounders from the Nets and one from the Clippers after this season, and the Celts are said to be certainly willing to discuss different combinations of their assets.

I think Sullinger and KO together would seal the deal imo.

Yeah, I been saying that all along if we don't land Love then Rondo is gone .

I think well eventually land him though. We basically aren't offering much YET and there's no need to this early. If we offered instead of our own 1st one of the Clipper/Brooklyn picks then it probably seals the deal. I think we will as we near the draft.

As much as posturing the Wolves are doing... Klay/Lee isn't going to be a huge difference maker in propelling them to the playoffs... The only reason why they didn't make the playoffs was defense in crunch time... Lee is abysmal on defense, and Klay is still lacking the lateral foot speed to keep up with speedy and quick agile SG's.

Klay may be a great compliment to Rubio in the back court, but again, they have to be hoping that whoever they draft is going to be a nice piece. I don't see them making the playoffs, maybe somehow beating out Dallas/Memphis or Phoenix, but its highly unlikely..

More posturing IMO. Id bet the 'let go of Rondo and Green in a methodical rebuild' is at least 3 or 4 contingency plans down the ladder.

I didn't look at it that way but good point. [dang]ed good posturing back at the wolves. If we don't land anybody big this year though no way Rondo makes it pass the trade deadline.

It does seem like it. Evidently, I've been checking a lot of GSW boards, and a lot of the users there say that the organization itself isn't intent on shipping out Klay, and instead are hoping that Draymond Green, and Ezeli, and a few picks would change their mind. I don't know if the Wolves would want Green/Ezeli/Lee for Love.

Barnes isn't offered as of yet, and why would the GSW rip Lee/Klay, and the potential of Barnes for Love who may re-sign, but will hinder their cap space? They have to basically believe a big 3 of Curry, Love, and Iggy/Bogut can help them contend.

Def dont need to give up BOTH KO AND Sully!! Were gonna need one of them to give us quality production of the bench and step up in a couple of years if Love bolts or something happens...

Dont just look at the pieces.. Look at the contracts attached with each... Lees got a pretty poisonous contract and Klay could prolly force his way out like Love would have next year in FA... Barnes is the only reasonable contract... Meanwhile with Boston ur getting 3-4 peices that u can hold on to and control their destination for atleast three more years.. The #6 in this draft is no small peice... Even outside the top10 u can find a pretty similar prospect to Klay in Nik Stauskas and at #17 you can get a much better player than an old David Lee on a much smaller contract... After that it comes down to KO and another future pick vs Barnes and personally ill take KO...

Better for the immediate mediocrity Flip seems to be gunning for, not for the long term future of the franchise.

I agree, but I don't know why the Wolves would want to do a move that's mostly lateral. They probably won't make the Playoffs with that team and they'll be in a similar position before long.

Trading for Olynyk/Sully, 6, 17, and a future first may not be better than Lee, Barnes, and Klay on paper, but it would give them young players as well as open up cap space to allow them to pick up more expensive players in free agency down the road.  It's a true rebuild.

Barnes hasn't shown much so far in his career.  Trading Love for Barnes, Lee, and Klay will guarantee long term mediocrity.  But I would expect nothing less from such a dysfunctional franchise.
