You're basically right that it's basically a large suburb.  Wiki says:  "As Seattle's largest suburb, Bellevue has variously been characterized as an edge city, a boomburb, or satellite city. The city had a population of 122,363 at the 2010 census."  
There has been investment groups who occasionally explore the possibility of building a new arena (for a future NBA team) in Bellevue instead of Seattle.  Major long-shot, but I'd be all for that.
Anyways, glad to bring Durant home where he belongs.   Folks in Seattle can paddle across the water and come watch him.   It's a season of healing.   It just might be healing a little slower than anticipated... which isn't reason for concern, mind you... it probably just means we'll miss summer league.  We're bringing in 3 doctors to check the long-term health of the org.  We'll be fine.
