Lot's of great trades going down today. Props to all the GMs involved, good deals all around imo. LB33 finally cashing in on some of his assets, and Rondo going for it all with a top tier contender suddenly.

Almost lost in the trade news, we also learned the big reveal that Bellevue is in Seattle!! It must be a high end suburb or something  ;D

It's the snooty rich snob of city built with Microsoft money 20 minutes from Seattle separated by a floating bridge over Lake Washington

You can see both the building I work in and my condo in this picture:

I can see the Space needle from my office window:

My coworker took a photo out the window almost every day for a year:

It's a pretty area.  Bellevue is basically Seattle, though.  When people visit here they just say they are in Seattle.

That's really cool LB33, that looks like an awesome area to live and work in! I didn't know about it, I always assumed Bellevue was fictional. Thanks for the info.

You're basically right that it's basically a large suburb.  Wiki says:  "As Seattle's largest suburb, Bellevue has variously been characterized as an edge city, a boomburb, or satellite city. The city had a population of 122,363 at the 2010 census."

There has been investment groups who occasionally explore the possibility of building a new arena (for a future NBA team) in Bellevue instead of Seattle.  Major long-shot, but I'd be all for that.

Anyways, glad to bring Durant home where he belongs.   Folks in Seattle can paddle across the water and come watch him.   It's a season of healing.   It just might be healing a little slower than anticipated... which isn't reason for concern, mind you... it probably just means we'll miss summer league.  We're bringing in 3 doctors to check the long-term health of the org.  We'll be fine.

Haha you always thought it was fake?  Common Harry!!!

I knew it was at least on the west coast based on lb33 sending me trade offers at 330 am.  At least I hoped he lived on the west coast  :)

Lol....yeah, I honestly thought it was fictional! With all the stuff LB33 makes up in his press releases I just figured it was a part of that persona. At least I learned something about geography today  :)

My 2016 first and TB's 2016 first are available.  But im happy to hold on to them and let them increase in value to move them mid season.  But if you want to pick them up now at a relatively discounted price im all ears.

I'm sure you are teasing me, but I've said a few times now that this isn't how that works.  Nobody should be shocked that my targets in real life for the celtics overlap with the guys I target in fantasy basketball.  If I hadn't been partially convinced that stauskas/biyombo/Bennett had a future, I wouldn't have traded for them in the first place.  I also traded for noel and wiggins before either broke out... If I write a thread about how amazing wiggins is, it doesn't mean I'm trying to unload him on you guys and using the forum to hype him up.   I just traded for Kevin durant... If I write a 1000 page rant about how Danny should target him next summer, you can be comfortable knowing it has nothing to do with my fantasy team ;)

I am just joshin'.....

(though i remember some comments from the Biyombo thread being interjected into our discussions -- even though i see a player/pick's IRL value as different from their fantasy value).

FWIW, i was never high on Stauskas last year so I wouldn't trade the #16 pick IRL for him. I see him as essentially a replacement level player.
