There's continually been a lot of chatter as to where the Celtics offer ranks for Minny, but let's say we put all that aside and assume that we don't get Love for a moment.

This would probably rule out us getting Carmelo.

So draft night roles around and we get Smart or Gordon, would it be a good idea perhaps trade up and get the other if he is still available?

Ex: Draft Gordon 6th

Trade Jeff Green, 17th, filler (?) to Lakers for 7th (draft Smart).

So the line up would run

PG- Rondo
SG- Smart
SF- Gordon
PF- Sullinger/Olynyk
C- (Asik/Olynyk)

Defiantly a rebuilding team, but one with a lot of potential.

I don't think LA will give us the 7th for Green, could be wrong, they're not really run all that well, but I'm not sure it benefits LA enough to give up a lotto for Green, unless they are known to get an other star player like Lebron or Melo to play the 4.

We'd also have to move Rondo on draft night because he'll be gone at the end of the season and thats the best night to trade him.

No point in getting Asik if we are going that young. Rather have KO at the C spot and go for an other tank year to improve assets, or get lucky in the draft for once.

Yes may see  it.

No love

Rondo traded on Draft night  could be the case .

Danny might trade Rondo for another pick ....take a guard too ...like Exum

LA would trade their 7 for Rondo .

If Danny fails to get Kevin Love

Pretty much everything and anything COULD go down draft night.......including  Rondo.

I wouldn't be shocked at Anything DA might pull out of his hat .

I agree With the Olynyk Sentiment, defiantly a tank team.

If Rondo leaves then Smart would have to play PG and we'd probably sign Bradley.

That being said Draft Express has Gordon going 10th, so we might not have to deal with the Lakers to get him.

I was going to start a new thread but ill just add my 2 cents here.

If Love deal doesnt happen...

Rondo to Sac for #8, Mclemore and cap fill plus some sort of future draft considerations (2015 swap?)

Green to Phoenix for Frye and #27 or memphis for Prince and #22, then look to move player to team in need of vet

Trade TPE to OKC for Perk and #29

With the Picks

#6 Embiid (assuming he falls)

#8 Saric (Gordon also strongly considered)

#17 Ennis/Payton (in that order if both available

#27 Capela/Tavares (look for both to stay in ACB at least 1-2 more year)

#29 Nick Johnson

This leaves the roster completely twisted.

Assuming Frye is moved to another team and Ab signs for around 6mill the 2015 Cs would be

PG Ennis (19), Pressey (23)
SG AB (23), Mclemore (21), N Johnson (21)
SF Saric (20), Wallace (31), C Johnson
PF Sully (22), KO (23)
C Perk (29), Fav (26), Iverson (24) (Embiid 20( sits out season) [Tavares over seas]

This team is lottery bound but very young and full of talent. The maturity as rookies of Ennis and Saric will make this a competitive team and not a total bottom feeder despite the average age.

This team will be the laughing stock of the NBA for years to come.

Remember the 11-12 Charlotte Bobcats? That's what this roster looks like.
