Let's say it's between Randle, Gordon, Smart, Vonleh. 

Also consider that the team has the 23rd pick and the position they can't fill with the 6th pick, they could potentially get fill it with the 23rd

Who are you picking at 5?

I think Aaron Gordon would be a really good fit there. They need someone with leadership, intensity and a defense-first mindset.

a SF or PF as it was reported that they see favors more as a center.
they have burke and hayward at the 1 and 2.

So I guess they will take one of randle/gordon/vonleh
probably the best offensive player of this group

Who do the Jazz blame for finishing outside the top four?

Because outside of the consensus top four, there's not a whole lot to get excited about if I'm a Jazz fan. Team is green and raw enough as it is.

I think Smart will be the best player available at #5 and would have to think him to the the likeliest to go. If not Smart, I would say Vonleh so long as he comes into Utah's workouts in shape and performs well.

I'd take Smart. While Vonleh has the hype, and Burke looked nice, they don't really have a cuthroat leader in the lockroom who can back it up on teh floor like Smart can. Plus allegedly Smart can play the 2, allowing Hayward to play the 3, if they retain him at all.
