Mcgarry to OKC?  guess they needed the beef in their opinion but a guy like Hood would have really helped that bench scoring problem

I agree, but at the minimum, McGary is a great replacement for Perk, in that he's strong and extremely physical, but he also helps in an area where Perkins certainly never has - passing.  HUGE upgrade, imo.  I'm kind of bummed that we couldn't get him somehow, though.

Jazz take Exum, and Hood, nice haul for them.

Gotta admit I'm pretty disappointed in the outcome of this draft.  Maybe Maaahcuz SMaaaht ends up a good point guard... maybe he can co-exist with Rondo.... which I'm not exactly sure how that's supposed to work since Rondo needs the ball to be effective and Smaaaht can't shoot, but whatever.

We have a lot of mediocre players on this team.   Looks like we'll be tanking again next year.  26-35 wins.
dude, you were leading the charge to tank and now you have the gall to complain that this is the result of that strategy?  using the luck of pingpong balls as the basis for building a team is going to lead to not getting that savior in the draft and having to take the BPA.  C's happened to get the BPA at 6 and what looks like a guy at #17 that could have gone earlier.

not too bad from my point of view
Yeah I don't understand why some people are upset. The top-10 of this draft went pretty much as expected, that is by BPA. Smart is a very good player and is NBA-ready. Young is a decent selection at 17. I am guessing those who are upset were expecting a trade. Otherwise, what who should Ainge have selected instead?  Randle, another PF?  Never thought that made sense.
I don't think anyone is saying the Smart is a reach. And Randle would not have been a better choice. I think a lot of us was hoping Danny could trade down a few slots and get something in return.

I like the selections, but Rodney Hood could come back to haunt us, imo.  He can post up, shoot, get to the basket off the dribble, etc.  If he turns into Rashard Lewis with a handle, I'm going to be pretty ticked off.

The Bruno pick....might be the instant single worst draft pick of all time.

I'm trying to think of a worse one....Kandi man?

Darco is about a million times more forgivable than that.

Do you know who LaRue Martin is?  He is a former #1 overall pick who had a third of the career of Kwame Brown.

LarBird33 I'm with you.

Zero chance they can play together, they would be the worse offensive back court in the league.

If they are going to go young then they better go all in, I don't want to see Bass playing 30 mpg, cut Wallace, trade Rondo and Green.

It's Marcus Smart, and he is a very good player. I don't know if he can co exist with Rondo, but it's a good problem to have.

They will play together and they will be Iq duo.

Encore.

Also, can we trade Jeff Green already and draft Cleanthony Early. If we're going youth, let's go youth.
