Young or Hood?  I really liked how Young played in the tournament, and he's just turning 19, so there's plenty of room for growth.  I really don't know.  Me thinks Gary Harris is going to Chicago.  They need a sg - desperately.

Please, to those of you who say Smart cant shoot... please calm down...

There's a HUGE difference in Rondo cant shoot and Smart cant shoot.

If you leave Rondo wide at the 3 line he will hesitate then pass, if you leave Smart wide open from deep he WILL make it. Smart may not be able to shoot effectively over guys, but he CAN hit shots.

He also is a fierce leader, good defender, good passer and HUGE body that can board and post up.

Calm down
Nah... mediocre player for a mediocre team.

Lol honestly I never watch COllege ball.  If Danny likes Smart, so be it.  Pretty sure he just took him, because everyone he actually wanted as off the board... and we already have 3 PFs on this team.

If you don't watch college basketball, then how would you know?

Marcus Smart played for a very good team who got screwed and lost their starting center early on which ruined that team. That forced LeBryan Nash to play inside and they got abused inside losing that center.

If Cobbins doesn't get hurt, OKST is a much better team than it shows. THey had no backup men.

All I know is, I watch a lot of CBB and saw a ton of Smart and liked what I saw. He can take over the game on both sides of the ball and he's a great leader. Smart's shooting woes are very overrated. He's not a knockdown shooter, but he's a decent shooter.

Smart was a good pick

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
i think we're getting Hood. Nurkic is going to Denver.

I feel a little guilty having Wojo's page up and knowing every choice before the pick is made - like I am cheating.
