Adrian Wojnarowski: Sacramento and Boston discussing a trade sending Ben McLemore to Celtics for the 6th pick, league source tells Yahoo Sports. Twitter @WojYahooNBA - See more at: http://hoopshype.com/rumors/tag/boston_celtics#sthash.zxJgP4N5.dpuf

Is Cousins coming with McLemore?  McLemore is no way near enough value and Stauskas wouldn't make sense with McLemore.

that would be awful!!! Smart >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> McLemore

No huge surprises to me so far, except I think Stauskas went a bit higher than expected. Thinking ahead to 17....
I thought Sauskas was a mid-first rounder. Another bad defender on that Kings team.

Wonder if any trade option with Orlando exists, assuming the rumor they loved Smart (although he kind of duplicates what Oladipo des).  I'm all about quality over quantity, Smart is ok but I believe Gordon will be great.  Smart + 17 for Gordon?  Not sure Orlando would even consider.

What makes you think that Gordon is going to be great?  I'm not criticizing you or anything, I'm just curious.

I didn't do much at all when checking on #17... any centers there who fit what we need? If not I want a SF.

I don't think so, unless you want McGary, but no one else comes to mind right now.  McGary would be interesting, in the 2nd round haha.  I'm with you, though, let's get a sf.  I don't think anyone wants another year of Jeff 'trick or treat' Green.  Young and Hood aside, who would you want at 17?  Warren, Hairston, and where will McDermott go?  Payton's off the board now.

Hmm... besides those guys I dunno... actually, I'll take whoever is the better defender... we have to keep in mind they will need to guard LeBron. I like Doug because he can shoot but he cant defend Bron...

LOL never mind that...
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Mcdermott on Denver?  would be amazed if he's not the second highest scorer as a rookie this year behind Parker.

Gordon will be a bum, I'm absolutely thrilled Orlando took him at 4...shocked,  but thrilled.  They will be the laughing stock of the league in a couple of years when they realise that athleticism is not everything.

Not sure why people are winning over the smart pick.   He was the best player available, and one of the more domimant scorers and defenders in college he suits the team's needs too.

Everybody here keeps complaining that Boston doesn't have enough guys who attack the basket,  draw fouls etc,  and that we always get stuck chucking jumpers.   Smart is the guy to solve that problem.

He's also bigger and stronger than Bradley,  and one of the few guards in the draft who could replace his production of he leaves.   I suspect Smart is going to become a real good player.   If he doesn't become at least a 17/4/4 guy I'll be very surprised.

What makes you think that Gordon is going to be great?  I'm not trying to be argumentative, rather, I'm more curious as to your reasoning behind such a belief.
So they didn't take Smart who duplicates Oladipo, but took Gordon who duplicates Tobias Harris. Either way, they're not drafting for positional need it seems.

He's bigger, but also the same height.

In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.
