Gordon is a tweener with emerging skills. That's what keeps him down. Wiggins is a considerably more polished player.

Per bleacher report: wiggins has a loose dribble and takes plays off on 0.
If your taking plays off you are not making the game easier for your teammates, thus less effect on team offense (playmaking)

I think Aaron Gordon's ball-handling and passing ability have been exaggerated in some quarters on C'Blog forums. Entering the league,  Aaron Gordon will be one of the most limited offensive players in the league at the SF position & he wouldn't be far off the bottom at the PF position either.

I think many fans would agree that Aaron Gordon is a solid passer for his size. But for those who disagree with you, and for the fans who just don't like Gordon as a prospect in general--  you aren't going to change their minds by posting draftexpress scouting reports. Everyone else has access to those vids too, so pointing out highlights from draftexpress is not the solution to every debate about the abilities of Aaron Gordon or any other prospect for that mater.

Wiggins is a nice prospect but far from perfect.  He needs to develop and be confident in dribbling and finishing with his left. He needs to play with more agression on a consistent basis

Here is my take on Gordon I project him as a sf in the NBA. I like his defense and athletisism and he's a team guy. But his handles are below average and he can't shoot 45% free throw shooter.

Yup, exactly what I was getting at.

And for the record, I am a Gordon fan....but enough with the draftexpress highlight vids to support all the debates about prospects around here.

It doesn't change the fact that the video shows some very high-level passing, not just for an 18 y/o or a kid that 6'8, but for any prospect. It's clear to anyone with eyes that understands basketball. I'm not saying that DraftExpress is gospel or anything, but you can't just brush off that kind of video evidence simply because it comes from a site that has been incorrect in the past.

Draft Express is one of the tools in assessing players. But even they get it wrong at times, I think Gordon will be a very good player though.

I think Gordon can turn into an excellent player. I do think Wiggins is the better prospect though but it would not surprise me if Gordon turned out to be a better player at some point. He just NEEDS to improve that shot. His form is awful. He seems like he has the drive to get better though.

For the record Im not very high on Wiggins. I think he could be a nice player, multi all star and nice career, but not a superstar. Just my 2 cents.

So in summary, Wiggins is closer to a finished product than Gordon, but Gordon has the tools in place (minus shooting).

please show me one example where I trash talked or had any kind of negative opinion of Gordon.

My whole point is it gets tiring when peoples response to peoples opinions are some dime a dozen scouting report video or highlight video.  If I'm gonna post something about Gordons passing ability I'd have a lot more respect for an informed response from someone who looks like they actually know something about the player.  Not, 'Oh yeah? check out 3:45'

Because you know what??  Check out Mikki Moore.  Lets watch every jumpshot hes ever made in his career.  I bet theres people out there that watch this video and actually think this is a good NBA player.  Now imagine this is a college player getting ready to enter the draft, and hopefully you see my point.
