probably Stauskas -- better shooter.  we need a SG that can actually shoot.

Harris wouldn't be a bad consolation prize at 17 though

I'd be stoked to get Garry Harris at 17. I don't see either of them being there at 17 though.

I prefer Harris' defensive fit next to Rondo over Stauskus (plus Harris' shooting is not a big drop off from Stauskus shooting) - and I think he is more likely to make it to 17. Unlikely, but more likely.

Stauskas without question.  Gary is pretty much an Avery Bradley clone with Bradley being his ceiling.  He'll be a solid player when he isn't injured, but I think Stauskas will be much better.  Nik will definitely not be available at 17.  Gary may be, but if I had to wager I would say he will not be there either.

Stauskas.  He's two inches taller and can play SF in small lineups, especially as he gets stronger over time.  Better shooter and would be great either starting in front of AB eventually or coming off the bench for AB.

This isn't very true.  Stauskas shot a significantly higher percentage from 3 (9 points better), while taking more difficult shots (he was assisted on only 71.7% of his threes while Harris was assisted on 86.2% of his threes).

While Harris has a game that may make him a better pro, Stauskas is the better shooter, and it's not close.

Nailed it.

But I think Harris is going to be the better pro.  To me, he is a better two way player than Stauskus.

I prefer Stauskas.  Not only is he a better shooter, but he seems to be more versatile in almost every facet of the game offensively.

Sure, Harris may be a better defender, but he's undersized at the two, never mind being able to play at the three.

To me, Stauskas has some star potential, while Harris has solid role player potential.  I'd gamble on the former.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I'd go Stauskas but you can't go wrong with either of them.  If possible, I'd love to package our #17 with the LAC 2015 pick and move up a few spots and nab one of these guys.

Stauskus i see his floor being Danny Green and ceiling Klay Thompson

with his ball handling and playmaking skills I see him more as a poor mans Manu Ginobli type than a Klay Thompson.

I can see the Klay Thompson potential offensively but don't forget that Klay is a very good defensive player and even big Stauskas supporters admit he's atrocious on that end.  He has a long way to go defensively before he can be compared to Klay.
