If we don't end up with Love, who would you rather see get him?
For me, there is a lot of win/win here for Cleveland. Yeah, they'd have to break the bank to make this happen, but it allows Lebron a chance to make things right with his city. As much as I hate seeing the Heat win, I have to respect the ability to be there four years running. To go back home, have Love and Irving and whoever else is left, might be a good "healing" thing for the city, Lebron, and the NBA.
Minnesota ends up with the #1 pick...which will soften the blow of losing Love. If Embiid does turn out to be the superstar everybody expects him to be, then the team will have several years to surround him with talent to try to make them contenders and keep him after his rookie contract. So, some win/win there also.
For Boston, it means we go to Plan B (C, D, K, whatever we'd be on at that point...I'm sure Danny and the team have the alphabet covered

). Love to Boston sounds good on paper, could possibly lead to other big deals...but there is no guarantee, and the thought of us continuing to grow our own players for future deals for other superstars has appeal also.
June is going to be fun
