Tonight may have been LeBron's final game in a Heat uniform.

Just like four years ago when LeBron got eliminated by Boston and him taking off his Cavaliers jersey on his way into the locker room.

How much does this 5th Championship enhance Tim Duncan's legacy?

Does it push him above Moses Malone, Hakeem Olajuwon and Shaquille O'Neal? The best center in league history after Russell, Wilt and Kareem?

Best overall player since Jordan? Ahead of Shaq? Ahead of LeBron (at least for now)?
its not the fact that its 5th, but its this one is against lebron in his prime. it gives duncan a nice bump.

Great point.
Yeah he's now clearly the best player in the league since Jordan. Has been for a while in truth but ring counters can't complain about him not matching Kobe/Shaq.

Exactly. And he's certainly the best power forward of all time.

I like this regime of Adam Silver already.  Heat might've won under Stern just to prolong the series to make money

I didn't know this would be a blowout win for the Spurs but... when Mia went up big and LeBron was going off, I KNEW Spurs had this win (thought it would be closer). I always believe, you let LeBron get his early, you let him wear himself out early. It rarely fails that when he goes off early, he is too tired to do much when it matters most. It's the same with most players, they have an extremely hot quarter and cannot sustain it. I was telling everyone, watch what I tell you, LeBron will kill them early, he did, and I said I bet he runs out of gas and the rest of the team has nothing for the spurs.... I called it! It has happened many times before this, the only difference was Mia had others step up. Hahaha well played SA!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Tonight will be the night to remember- Tim Duncan is now better than Kobe Bryant, in terms of achievements and awards argument for those Kobe defenders.

5x NBA champion, 3x NBA Finals MVP, and 2x MVP.

The improvement in officiating was very encouraging.  I have turned off a lot of games in previous playoffs due to the obvious bias in officiating.  I didn't this year.  Even Wade and Lebron weren't getting all the calls they are used to getting.

I was telling my folks the same thing he wants to change the misconception of nba officials that the league is fixed or that they swing games to prolong series and these playoffs were a good step toward that. Yeah there was some bad calls e.g. Clippers game but they are human and it overall was the best officiated playoffs in a long time. He was on his officials and it was called pretty [dang] even throughout, the best teams advanced not the most popular and favored.

same here. although the refs were laying it on pretty thick in the 1st quarter tonight, overall there has been a noticeable improvement... and we finally got to see the heat without the training wheels. if only we could've had it like this in 2012, C's would've been in the finals against the thunder.

good sign moving forward!

absolutely, i was thinking the same thing - you know if you just watched a properly-officiated game by scott foster then SOMETHING has to have changed.
