I think my reply, were I the Celtics (and in response to the original poster) is that Kevin Love, at this stage, is worth three assets in trade. The best bigs are "3 good draft pick/ young player" guys (no one know the guys going to ORL were going to be that good). Kevin Love is not a KG transcendent talent, so the right package of three draft picks/young players is likely a: (1) "A-/B+" potential trade asset; (2) a "B" potential trade asset; and (3) a "B-/C+" potential trade asset.
We are willing to give (1) #6 pick in 2014 draft; (2) Nets 2016 pick ; and (3) #17 in 2014 draft with "good character" vets for cap filler. That is enough. It is more than everyone but Cleveland or Philly's "godfather" offers can bring. If you want JS/KO, fine, then the 2015 LAC pick with KO/JS and let us keep the Nets 2016 pick.
