Lot of talk about the draft, love and asik. Most options end up with us adding talent at the forward and center.
If we land love and asik or draft Gordon we will need to acquire a get buckets kind of scorer at the 2 to compete.
Aflalo and Martin have been discussed. Aflalo plays D but I don't know if he fits the bill as a second option.
Martin can score with the best of them but his d is non existent.
We could just resign Bradley but he's turned into a chucker, he's a great defender but just to [dang] small to survive guarding bigger players every game.

Stevenson is a risky and expensive option.
Haywood?
What other options are out there?

I think Love can get buckets I am fine with a 3 and d guy at SG for this year.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I'm fine with Bradley on a smart contract at SG. If he asks for too much, then you look around the FA market.

Also fine starting the season with Green at SF. Let the first couple of months play out before you attempt to upgrade the starting lineup using picks and other assets.

There are so many things that I hate about this post...

1) I hate the term chucker. I wish people would stop saying it. Bradley is not one. Bradley took more shots because the team had a dearth of offensive options last season and he is a good shooter. Who else was going to take shots and score for that team?

2) Not sure who Aflalo and Stevenson are? Oh - you mean Aaron Afflalo and Lance Stephenson...Not to be a stickler on spelling, but know who you are talking about.

3) Who is Haywood? Brendan Haywood? Why do so many people refer to Gordon Hayward as Haywood? You aren't the only one to do this on CB...

At SG, we resign Avery B at a friendly rate ~ $5.5M per year.

Draft Zach LaVine. Never seen him play actually, but he is my new favorite prospect of the week. Sounds like he's got shooting, hops, size and the rest of the package at the 2 spot.

3 guard rotation w/ Rondo, AB and LaVine  . . . . keep CJ, Bayless or whomever to back them up.

I personally like the idea for Rondo, Green, Love and Asik with a two SG rotation as a starter/6th man featuring Avery and a scorer. Martin would be a great fit if brought in with Love. Hairston has the potential to fit this role in the draft. Lavine is two fare away in his development. With ABs injury history I would also like DA to draft a possible cheap injury replacement and I think there are a few that fit the role in the 2nd round. Nick Johnson is my pick but Christmas from xavier also fits the mold.

I'm a huge Bradley fan, but I think him playing for the qualifying offer instead of signing him to an extension is the best idea.

I don't understand why people aren't as excited by Lance Stephenson's game as I am!

KORVER!!
I really beleive the perfect  answer at Shooting Guard if we get Love and Asik will be Korver!!
One of the best 3pt shooter in the history of the NBA who is deadly off screens!!
That's what a Rondo and Asik team needs more than another SG ballhandler or shoot creator...

I would like Korver as the 6th man backing up AB and Green.

Could have a rotation of

PG Rondo 36min, Bayless 12min
SG Avery 30min, Korver 18min
SF Green 35min,Korver 13min
PF Love 36min,Olynyk 12min
C  Asik 30min , FA D center 10min,Olynyk 8min

I don't understand why people aren't as excited by Lance Stephenson's game as I am!

Punching players in the head, blowing in peoples ears, acting like a clown, and allegedly beating his girlfriend dont help his cause.

A. Bradley is a chucker (at least last year). Makes bad decisions and lacks awareness on o. Odd because he is a hyper smart defender.
B. Please oh please knock me for miss-spelling while I type hurriedly on my iphone in between work assignments. Not all of us have the luxury/spare time to double check  nba player name spellings on the web. (Maybe you're not familiar with life in the rat race). Anyway thanks for the insight into my question, very constructive.

I actually like that lineup.  A big plus is that it might be actually attainable.
