We need to see the next card flipped and instead people want to go all in with two jacks

Its a shame alot of fans dont have the patients anymore. One bad year and lets give up on our promising young players plus a 6th pick (would be top 3 in any other draft)

This is diff than 2007. Love is not KG not by a mile.

If we give up on one or both of these guys and lose both of our 2014 picks for Love imo we will pay. Come on Danny dont do it

I don't know what you have against Kevin Love nor do I know what you see in Sullinger or Olynyk (two role players in my opinion) but I could not disagree more.

Also, what you consider "patience" is what I consider "nonsense."

Nonsense in wanting to see your team suck over the next couple years just so "young guys can develop."

Maybe that does it for you, but it doesn't do it for me (and hopefully many other fans out there that think like me.)

This is Boston and it's about winning championships, not some small market like Charlotte or Milwaukee.

Also, I think by now we get you don't want to see Kevin Love traded here. How many more posts are we going to read about it?

KO and Sully won't mind at all because ... Love means never having to say you're sorry...  ;D

I don't know about you, but I'm not a doctor -- I just play one on CB.

How old are you?  One typing mistake and you want to point it out to show how cool you are?

Lets not make a single joke personal, or question one another's maturity over a simple one liner.

If they're so mentally fragile that they can't handle being offered in a trade for an all-nba player who is a three time all-star they aren't going to make it anyways.

I just disagree to draft , never wait and trade for someone more established. And continue the cycle

When you're trading for marginal upgrades or lateral moves I agree with you. (See Scola for Plumlee)

But we're talking about a major upgrade at PF, going from a guy who the next step is becoming a quality starting PF and a quality backup PF (Sully/Olynyk respectively) to a all-star who is also an all-nba candidate every year he's healthy.

Look dude lets think about this.

Love is 25, Sullinger is 22.

Do you think Sully is going to average 22/12 in 3 years? When his ceiling is Kevin Love?

I'd rather get the real thing then a imitation. Love still has room to grow and Rondo is already 28 (in his prime), while Kevin is either going to be a) what he is (which is a productive 20/12 guy) or b) continue to improve on that one weakness in his game (his defense) and become a more complete player.

As much as I love Sully, i'd go for Love.

But how do you know sully and KO wont be all stars?

They each had stretches where they produced high quality numbers. If you forgot sully was doing 20 and 15, KO had numerous 20 plus point games, 8 reb, 3 assists.

No one knows the future, but even if you project Sullinger optimistically he's not going to be as good as Love is right now.

You similarly don't know if Sullinger/Olynyk will ever even sniff all-star status. You can't let potential keep you from upgrading your team's talent.
