Open appeal to Ballmer ....please change the Clipper name

It is ugly, it is synonymous with losing, and now synonymous with a racist -- please change the name.

LOS ANGELES STARS --- that will quickly get Hollywood behind your team and dilute the stranglehold the Lakers have on the city.

You have the money, but do you have the passion to crush the Lakers. You already have a head start over them. Change the name and maybe even the colors and LA will embrace you.

This is a Microsoft CEO. You don't want him touching anything from a marketing perspective. And nobody in LA is begging for the team name to be changed.

LA Lakers are the biggest losers in all of this. If Ballmer keeps the team in LA, the Lakers are done, unless they bring in some deep pockets as part of ownership. Maybe they give a bigger chuck to that billionaire doctor that owns a little piece right now.
