right now i am too lazy to find the link, but as part of his statement earlier he mentioned that he also needed to be chosen in the top 10 to come to the US.

now, how much of that is posturing is anyone's guess. i do hope other teams are scared off and he drops to the celtics at #17 and agrees to come to the US. heck, we have 9 days until the [dang]ed draft, i can dream all i want.

IIRC, it's the money that the issue if he's not at the 6th or 7th slot.  Almost twice as much in those slots as at the 17th slot.

Speaking of passing at every position, what do you think of Kyle Anderson. I did not watch all of his games but I've been doing research and kind of like him. He has great length and great passer. I think he just needs to shed his baby wieght and get stronger.

I'm pretty indifferent -- I've seen the thread on here, but that's about all I know about him.

Unless we wind up with one of the really top prospects, I usually start looking into college/international players after the draft, not before.

I like Anderson, just not as much as I like Saric. Would be very happy with Kyle at #17 if we draft Smart at #6. Kyle will need real minutes to fully develop IMO and would be seriously slowed by a logjam at forward.

That's AT LEAST a 4 seed in the east. Similarly, I like:

Rondo/Lin
Afflalo/J. Young
Green/Saric/Wallace
Sully/KO/Bass
Asik/KO

That lineup could be constructed while maintaining all of the future draft picks (trade with Orlando mentioned above + TPE, Bogans and filler for Asik and Lin), giving the Celtics a massive amount of flexibility to make a big trade or sign a big FA once the core develops.
