I have really warmed up to Gordon lately. The hours leading up to the draft lottery I went back and listened to different podcasts, including Chad Ford's mid-season one with Bill Simmons. His praise of Gordon was accurate, and also threw in that scouts have high regard for his work ethic, family values, and generally having a really good head on his shoulders. When you combine this with Gordon's recent comments about liking the Celtics for being a high-class organization that has a great family atmosphere, I think he could be a really great long-term fit

Gordon's video was impressive, primarily because his ball handling, foot work, and jumper are much better than I had anticipated. If he's still growing into his body then it would explain why his shooting has been suspect at times, but given his solid form then I fully expect his free throw shooting to improve. To be candid I wouldn't be surprised if he went in the top 4, ahead of Exum. I really hope not.
LaVine's video was not impressive to me at all. I don't think flying to the hoop and dunking is any indicator of how someone will play in the nba, and that's about all that I saw. Footwork wasn't that great, little back to the basket skill, and I gained no insight about his lateral quickness (offense or defense).
Given that we have Rondo I don't believe that there's much value in drafting Marcus Smart. Even if we traded Rondo I still value a 2-way SF like Gordon much more than a PG.
