Id be cool with McDermott but I'd like to trade back and get him if that's possible. He should be available at at least 10.

If we focus on the offensive potential, rondo will like having these guys. They are excellent at getting open without the ball. Nobody has talked about this
McDermott is pretty terrible at it, he has a lot of trouble getting the ball when denied aggressively. Given that I doubt he's a huge post threat in the NBA with his lack of physical tools it'll be even harder as most of his off the ball action rested on the threat of his posting a smaller player up.

Warren I only watched 4 or 5 games total, but he seemed to play on the ball more than off it like McDermott did. Tended to initiate offense from the wing with dribble drive for jump shots

Well there are only a few players when zeroed in by opposing team ds that are still abke to score. Mcdermott didnt play with a proper pg nor had someone else to help him score

...he was playing in an offense that was entirely built around helping him score.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

It doesnt matter. He was still zeroed in(in the mm it became worse). You need someone else to help.

In his case, I believe those players had names: Ethan Wragge, and Jahenns Manigat. Sorry, but what you're describing just doesn't jive with the reality of the Blue Jay's offense.

The fact that you don't know who Ethan Wragge and Jahenns Manigat are when you're trumpeting Doug McDermott speaks volumes. They were just as important to Creighton's offense as McD, something you'd know if you actually watched them play a game before the tournament.

You really think McDermott's terrible at getting open off the ball?

That's hyperbole.  Wragge was a fantastic floor-spreader and Manigat was one of their only all-around perimeter guys, but McD was the only guy who was a potent threat to score from anywhere on the floor.  Without him that offense would have collapsed.  You couldn't say the same for Wragge or Manigat.
