really efficient big man, I need this guy on the Cs. What can we do to get him?
Tiago's great and all but he had a poor year (from what I remember) leading up to playoffs. I feel like he's the type of player that doesn't fare well if you take him out of Pop's system. I wouldn't over pay for him at the $9mil range which I believe he's at now. Not saying that was bad on the Spurs part because good big men are hard to find and he was a necessity to pair with Timmy.
Splitter will be a scrub if ever he leaves pops system. Think Richard Jefferson, Gary Neal, George Hill - - > all of them non-impact players after leaving san antonio. The spurs are like the Syracuse oif the NBA (Hi Fab Melo!)

Tiago is a fine player. He performed poorly in the Finals last year?? BS...he was a solid role player who got blocked by James in a highlight play. In Pop's system he is fine, I wouldn't pay for him outside of that.....On the other hand even though he is the future face of the Spurs franchise I'd take Kawhi Leonard in a heartbeat. The guy is a beast no matter what system he is in.
