I think my mom will be the next Dirk Nowitzki.

She's a bit undersized, but she's white, european, white, and can be highly offensive if she wants to.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

That every white guy that can shoot will be compared to Dirk/Bird no matter what. Kind of like how every white guy that raps gets compared to Eminem. And if there is another Asian-American that makes it in the NBA, he will undoubtedly get Jeremy Lin comparisons.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

I think he's more like a poor man's Steve Nash.

I compared him to Joaquim Noah on this thread.  I guess you are hung up on the title of the thread, but are not reading all the posts.  I agree with you that fans tend to categorize and compare players too much based on race.  But since this thread is about a young talented player, why don't you study his video report on Draft Express and then give an opinion. Their reports are pretty balanced, showing you the positives and negatives of players.  No one can know how this kid will turn out, but based on that report, I am extremely intrigued and would be thrilled if we took a chance on him with our 17th pick.

The Draft Express video mentions he has the frame to bulk up and maybe they're right, but I don't see that.  He looks really frail to me.

I Love this guy for our 17 pick. He plays C and can play great defense and good offense. just watch some tape on him and you will see.

i just watched some tape.  i saw a bunch of layups and blocks on 5'9" guys.  not impressed, that guy looks like he'd get eaten alive in the NBA

Look at the Draft Express tape.  Those are 7' pros he's playing against.

Looks more like the next Steve Kerr/Dolph Lundgren (facially).
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

He plays in the best league in the world outside the NBA.

I really like this kid, and have been researching him for weeks. He covers a lot of ground quickly and changes directions easily. He'll be a great pick and roll defender, and won't be lost when switched onto guards on the perimeter.

He'd make a nice pairing with KO and Sully because of his shot blocking and ability to cover people in space.

Hard to put a limit on his upside, especially since he still might be growing, and he won't start filling out until he stops growing.

I'd compare him to a John Henson with a better motor and work ethic, and already a better outside shot.

He also comes across as very bright and humble, and he already speaks just about perfect English.
