If they draft Wiggins, does this put Waiters on the trade block? Re-sign Deng, give him a decent contract, and put Wiggins at SG. Let Deng tutor and help mentor Wiggins on defense, and you got a player that can monumentally shut down most players in college, and may shut down players in the NBA too, given a few years.

The Cavs might move the #1 pick for a star veteran, because they want to win rather than get younger. They're not going to trade it for two lesser picks.

Looks like Cleveland just became the favourite to land Kevin Love.

Yup ...

Tanks a lot Danny .......

Ainge should have traded for Asik and won more games than Cleveland so that Boston would be a place where Love would be more likely to sign an extension.

I just got a hilarious image of two GMs both watching Wolf Of Wallstreet it pump themselves up, and then having the receptionist connect their call, only to have them both sit in silence for an hour waiting for the other person to talk first.

Pretty confident Cleveland will take Embiid.  Huge need at that position.  Re-sign Deng, they should be decent next year.

Embiid probably makes the most sense, but I think they're going to try to win quickly to appease Kyrie, their owner, and the fan base.

Agreed. But they do need a defensive anchor. I wonder if they'd entertain Varejao and the 1st for Sanders, Milwaukee's top-3, and future considerations.

I can see the Cavs going after Love. I don't think Love will re-sign with the Cavs though, just because of the constant issues in the locker room, the unknown head coach, and the numerous failed playoff exits..

I mean Love should take the BOS over CLE, because of Danny, the assets we got, and the fact the Celtics still are one of the best basketball organizations. If Danny adds one or two of the Nets picks unprotected, the Wolves have to at least consider the impact it could make for their future. The Wolves are in no rush to contend and compete. They know they have to rebuild accordingly to a suited plan.

The Cavs are desperate to appease their PG, so who knows?

I just have a firm belief that of all places, Love doesn't want to end up on the Cavs.

I think that would be a pretty bad trade for them.

Yeah, barring a now unlikely return to form for Sanders.

Doubt it. Griffin is probably just being diplomatic. They may consider for Love but I honestly can't see him agreeing to resign there before he got dealt.

No one is going to Cleveland! They couldn't keep the Queen and she grew up there. They will make the pick, Embiid does seem logical but hard to say at this point.

There is a higher chance that gravity will reverse and cause the end of the universe tomorrow than Kevin Love signing an extension in Cleveland.

It will never happen. Anyone who thinks there is even a remote possibility Love would sign an extension there is intoxicated on an illegal substance.
