2 firsts and KO for a guy who should be backing up Avery Bradley if the Celtics trade for him?

2 seconds and Phil Pressey, maybe.

Why would we drastically overpay for Waiters?

And a six-pack and some chips...

heavily protected 1sts are not that high in value...should have specified lottery protected.. Witers is a star in the making.. he needs an attitude adjustment, but he has the ability to take over games.. can take it to the rim, play D...worth it

Love will cost too many assets on top of the pick now that we are at 6, I think.

I still think we have the best offer, throw in some future firsts and Sully or something best offer they're getting with the exception of maybe GS. I think we get him, similar offer to the Knicks for Melo

its going to cost the six, Sullinger and a mix of at least two more picks/players.  We can't trade our '15 pick if we send out the six so Im not sure we have many appealing picks beyond the #6/#17 this year.  I could see those be the asking price plus players of Minnys choice.

Will be have the ability to add a third piece behind Rondo and Love?

We actually can.  We could trade both our #1 picks this year and one of our 2015 #1 picks, and we'd still be okay.  The rule prevents us from being left with no #1 picks in back-to-back future years; we should be okay with that.

Firsts have more value than you think. That's an overpay for Waiters.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
I think Waiters will be a star. He has all the talent to become one. The real problem is if he can truly become that stud.

I would love for us to take a chance on him if hes the only option left, and can come at a cheaper alternative.
