PP is going to be a lot better as a Wizard than he was as a Net. And I blame Kidd to quite an extent for PP's production, or lack of it, last season. Sure he is declining, but he is better than his last season's numbers suggest.

DinoGanga will obviously win this trade long term. But for a team that's trying to compete, it makes complete sense. Short term, this trade should help out Harry.

A couple of season's ago, I made a similar move. Gave up a draft pick, not sure if it was a first or a second, for Vince Carter. And I have admit, I didn't/don't regret it. VC was solid for my bench last season and the season before.

Well PP will definitely have a better year than any 2015 first and probably next year too.

fine trade

Well, I don't know how you judge a trade, but I'd call this one fair. DinoGanga is carrying a team with lot of ageing players while Harry is trying to compete this year. It's not like two teams that are rebuilding were involved in this trade where you can immediately say the GM who acquired the pick won.

Yep, that's pretty much it. DinoGanga gets good value in getting an asset for a guy who is retiring in a year or two, and I get someone who can help me out this year and maybe next year. It fits the needs of both teams. Good first trade for DinoGanga.

So basically this offseason, Toine's Boys added:

Paul Pierce, Thomas Robinson, and JJ Barea

for Byron Mullens, TBs 2015 1st, and TBs 2015 2nd.

Hey guys...

I still haven't been able to find a decent deal to move some big men for guards/small forwards.  Hit me with some offers - I've got some solid young players and proven big men who are all available.

PP - like
TRob - like
JJ - Don't like unless he is traded

Byron - Don't like... Wait!!! Isn't he on my roster?
TB's #1 - like
TB #2 - eh, it's a #2.

Zeller and Napier are no great shakes but I'm pretty excited to add them.  Think they've both got production potential.

Jordan Clarkson (Lakers likely backup PG once Nash breaks a hip) and Livio-Jean Charles are available for a 2nd round pick.

Until then everyone swipe at BFM.  :P 8)

Funny you should say that....I'm in Bandhavgarh National park in India (you can't venture too far from your tents once sun goes down...after that, candles are all you have....plus a forest guard with an out-dated tranquilizer.....by out-dated, I mean it looks reallyyyyy old). This park has the highest concentration of Tigers in any park in India. Saw a Leopard (yeah, not a Tiger) this evening feasting on a wild Hog, I hope I am lucky enough to see the majestic beast in its natural surrounding while I am here. Will post pics in a relevant thread on the blog.

Btw, to same that the whole Utah Flash front-office is not jealous of BFM right now would be disingenuous to say the least.

Not shabby. I'll be disappointed if Kelly can't beat him out, but Zeller could reasonably end up the starting center for our Cs.

I agree. This was a deal where I wanted to make an offer and just didn't have the right assets. No high 2nd round pick to net Pierce on draft day and not willing to give up what should be another top 5-8 pick next season on the Captain.

Yeah, I'm jealous as well!! BFM is living the life while I'm sitting in traffick for hours each day!
