Aaron Afflalo, Lance Stephenson, and Thabo Sefalosha come to mind.
If we're talking about the draft, I really like the sounds of Tyler Ennis.
Tyler Ennis hasn't proven anything except for taking a shot anyone else would've taken, and somehow making it. I think Ennis suffered from the one-itis, and will be exposed at how raw he is. Hes not even a quick point guard, which is the issue here. Hes going to be doubled a lot if he is our 'go' to scorer. I don't even consider Ennis a good prospect, and I think he'll finish outside of the lottery. I would be hesitatant to take on a one year PG that doesn't have the ball handling and speed to create space.
It worked for Mario Chalmers -- Ennis will probably wind up as this year's Norris Cole for Miami.
Ummmm.... You kind of forget one important thing. Mario is also playing with one of the best players who constantly demands doubles/triple teams on the daily.
I was actually talking about Chalmer's ridiculous buzzer beater when he was on the Jayhawks -- it's the only reason he was drafted in the first round, much like Ennis will be (probably).
My mistake, and don't take offense if you did, I wasn't trying to insult you. I just think some people especially Bleacherreport try to justify how good of a PG Chalmers is, even though LBJ/Wade/Bosh are a huge reason why Chalmers is left open sometimes. From my perspective, Chalmers is a good shooting PG that can defend.
Chalmers can really shoot the ball though, could in college too. Ennis shot isn't very reliable comparatively. Nor is he the athlete defender that Cole is.
I'm not sure who Ennis will end up being, hopefully for him his shooting will improve.
I don't see Ennis doing as well. I think his mistake was not staying for college... He could've definitely been top 3 PG next year instead of a PG that people will always think of as inexperienced.
I think we would be fine with Kevin Love as our go to scorer, provided we surround him with other shooters and a big man to roll hard to the hoop with Rondo.
I think if we could do a sign and trade for Gordon Hayward, Greg Monroe or Lance Stevenson that could be a very good young trio to move forward and grow with.
I do too. But I think like every other fan; we would love some reassurance.
I think Gordon would be a nice piece on this team, considering Love/Rondo are also great passers for their positions. Ideally, I would love someone like Lance or Hayward, but Jazz isn't letting go of Hayward, and Monroe would be great, but defensively, we're going to suffer in protecting the paint.
