How would you feel if we landed the #1 pick and traded it along with filler for Kevin Love?

Because if you did that, Melo (a free agent) could potentially decide to force a sign-and-trade to Boston
I don't think Rondo-Melo-Love can win a championship
and i simply don't want to see Melo win one
so i will rather draft embiid and consider trading Rondo
or draft Parker and bring back PP to mentor his game

Rondo, Melo, and Love can't win a championship?

Oh, but unproven Embiid, Parker, and 36 year old Paul Pierce can.  I get it  ::)

I am still trying to figure out why everyone is so enamored with Embiid.

Someone on the internet said he's the next Hakeem.

Hakeem also didn't have a serious stress fracture, and was pretty knowledgeable of basketball way before Embiid was on his path to discovering his talent.

I don't think a lot of users understand the seriousness of a stress fracture. Every torque, and every movement may or may not hinder his injury even more if it flares up. Hes a 7 feet guy who is going to suffer from continuous problems if he can't remain healthy enough.

Embiid is the type of prospect you go after; but isn't by any means a safe pick.
I think stress fracture can be fixed by surgery, they put iron plate to stabilize the joint
 no?

how will th at affect his career though?

Personally, I'd keep my distance from big guys with back/foot issues coming out of college. Not to mention, Embiid is a bit lanky for a center.

If I had the no 1 pick, I'd either select Jabari Parker or I would include the pick in a package for an
all-star.
