can't say I am surprised. Aside from his personality, his knees been a real issue. Love him or hate him, I hate when an athlete's career is cut short because of injuries

Probably safe to say Bynum has likely played his last game in his NBA career.

I wouldn't go that far. But I no longer see him as a player that can ever be a consistent high impact player again.

I could still see him playing 20 minutes a game for 50 something games a year somewhere.

Unless he transfers to the PBA.

Zing!

That animated gif of "him" bowling is fantastic. I look forward to seeing it here again soon.

I just have a hard time picturing a team that would be interested in signing him after the last 2 years.

Didn't play a single second during the '12-13 season for Philly, and then in 13-14 gets released by Cleveland for being a knucklehead and could only play 2 games with Indiana because of his knees.

Yikes.

same, high risk with no rewards...he's a veteran but not a leader. Won't be helping his teammates or help with their development. Nobody wants him at this point

You know your career is not headed in the right direction when even the Cavs don't want anything to do with you.

I said at the time of his release from the Cavs that he'd make whoever signed him worse.  The guy is a distraction and a bum.

He's low risk. He's a minimum guy. Who cares? Ppl always take a shot on size. Especially a player not even 30 who was an all star.

He will play again if he wants too.

What is crazy about this situation is that the Indiana situation worked out poorly for him, because everyone will think he was part of the problem there, when it was really just his knees.  The Indiana stink is on Bynum and not the other way around!

You know your career is not headed in the right direction when even the Cavs don't want anything to do with you.

That seemed to work out ok for Danny Green.

The guy is such a distraction that I don't think he's worth the minimum.  The risk isn't particularly low with his track record.
