  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I think Bynum could still land some veteran minimum deals next year. That's low risk high reward.

I could still see him playing 20 minutes a game for 50 something games a year somewhere.

Unless he transfers to the PBA.

TP for mentioning PBA. He'll be a draw for sure.

Zing!

That animated gif of "him" bowling is fantastic. I look forward to seeing it here again soon.

Haha exactly what I was thinking of. One of the best gifs around.

You know your career is not headed in the right direction when even the Cavs don't want anything to do with you.

That seemed to work out ok for Danny Green.

Beat me to it.

It's a shame how injuries have limited his career. Andrew Bynum was such a sensational talent when he first started to break out. The size, the length, the speed end to end was incredible. The jumping ability. The bulk. A 7-1 270lb speedy center. Incredible physical talent. I think A.Bynum would have surpassed Dwight Howard if injuries hadn't bitten him.

But bit by bit, each injury took away his athleticism. And what is he now? If he can stay healthy, the best case scenario is what? A backup center. A [dang] shame.

He'll probably go back to the Lakers and dominate again. Ugh.

Shame he couldn't replace Hibbert and help the Pacers this post-season. Shame to see both Bynum and Greg Oden in street clothes during the playoffs. Dudes are in their mid to late twenties!

If he played for free, I wouldn't have him on my team
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

I wonder how many people would have been willing to take a risk on adding the Bynum of next season to the Celtics of 2-3 years ago.  Does Bynum look more attractive if your alternatives are guys like Ryan Hollins or Jason Collins?

Absolutely -- I think our team would've been able to handle whatever chemistry issues were at play.

I can see him getting a non-guaranteed contract, but unless his knees miraculously get better (he's already gotten platelet injections in Europe, right?), I think that's the best he'll get. And...I do think he'll get that, but with his attitude concerns and the knees, I think that's all he'll get.

So, he'd be perfect for Miami.
