Win now?  Golden State.

Long term & for the rebuild?  Lakers.

I wouldn't touch that Knicks job with Dolan in there.

But Phil Jokerson is in it!

Even more incentive to not take it.

Golden State has the best team, and the brightest and HOTTEST of the spotlight.

The Knicks will have the least of the pressure but a lot of breathing room moving forward.

I hope he chooses GSW (duh). As long as he implements a system that has more fluidity on offense, and not to heavy on ISO's with David Lee and Steph Curry, the FO would be fine with him. I think he's also accomplished enough, exposed enough (I meant that in a sense that he's got a good track record as a GM and an exceptional color analyst) and connected enough (Phil and Pop) that he'll earn the respect of the players he will coach.

Hard to pick between the Knicks and Warriors without knowing what a conversation is like between Kerr and the Dubs' owner.

I went with the Warriors. He is California based, they have the best chance to keep winning.

Methinks someone's got to spend a little less time in Oaksterdam.

I wouldn't wish the Lakers or Knicks jobs to my worst enemy.

Knicks and Lakers are the high profile spots but they come with a ton of expectations.  GSW has better talent right now and has a better chance to ease into achieving expectations

I believe Steve Kerr to the Knicks, Mike D'Antoni to Goldne State, Mark Jackson to the Lakers, and Utah-I have no idea lol

I would hate to see D'Antoni on that Warriors team. They need to stay big with Bogut and D.Lee + a huge part of their team is building around the defensive talents of Bogut and Iguodala. Neither of these things do I think D'Antoni is well suited to doing.

It would be fun to see Steph Curry and Klay Thompson play for D'Antoni ... but I don't think the team as a whole is well suited to him. I think D'Antoni would limit them. Hold them back. I'd really hate to see that happen.

i think he should go to the knicks. its a lot easier to make an impression there. all u really gotta do is make the playoffs in a weak conference.

for the warriors and lakers, u would have to make the playoffs in a much tougher conference, and if ur goin to the warriors, anything less than the 2nd or 3rd round may be considered a failed season.

Do any NBA head coaches have language in their contracts that give them the power to hire and fire assistants?  If so, I'd probably choose the team which is most willing to give me that.

Also, Phil Jackson is old, so the Knicks may be my best choice if my goal is to eventually get GM power.
