What would it take to get Klay Thompson?

That makes two of us. I have zero interest in Dion Waiters, let alone giving up Bradley to get him.
I'm a big Klay Thompson fan though...but I don't think the Warriors have much interest in trading him while he is still on his rookie contract.

No, but he might be a better value on his next contract than Klay Thompson if Thompson gets a max deal.

It's perfectly reason to expect that Bradley might increase his 3P% to 41-42% and add 1-3ppg on the offensive end.

Thompson is very overrated.  Inconsistent shooter.  Not a fan.

He was 8th in eFG% among players with 17ppg or more, 3rd in 3PT% among players with 12ppg or more, and 2nd in 3 pointers made.

He's inconsistent because he'll have days where he'll shoot 13-18 and then drops to 6-15 or 5-20 the next two. I know this because ive seen every game he played this year. He is scoring points because despite those bad shooting nights, he gets to the free throw line and hes really at that area. But his efficiency is what is inconsistent.

With that said, id take the inconsistencies along with the positives if we can trade for him.

In what universe could Bradley potentially shoot 3s as well as Klay Thompson?  There is an enormous difference between Bradley's percentage and Thompson's when you consider he made 3 times as many last year.

He actually MADE more 3s than Bradley even attempted.

The kid is already one of the best shooters in the league, and has the foundation to become one of the best all time.  Celticsblog is going to start to look ignorant if we continue to call him inconsistent and use his shooting in the same sentence as Avery Bradley.

I probably cant. I can tell Klay is inconsistent because I watched every Dubs game.

But I think youre missing my point. I agreed that he somehow he's inconsistent in efficiency. But I still want him. TI could live with his bad shooting nights just like I did watching him the whole season, because he does a lot more.

I want him playing for the Celtics, inconsistent or not.

No, but regressing Is a red flag.

And its not like he lost playing time, he did not. He got a bigger role by being THE guy in the second unit and he flat out stunk.

Dont get me wrong, he'll hit some timely shots, but his overall game just took a huge step back from what he did in last years Playoffs.
