The one reason why I have not even considered Marcus Smart as a potential Celtic is the fact that he wears the #33. Even more he has that number tattoed on the back of his arms. It's just not the right fit.

Lol thought this was going to basketball related  ;D
Maybe have the second '3' made into an '8' so he can keep the tattoo  :D

Actually, the real reason Danny would be nuts to draft Smart = loose cannon, with anger management issues.

Not wasting a lottery pick on that.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

It might be the most clever title I've ever read on Celticsblog.

And i'm not even sure it was intentional.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I fully understood the opportunity for a draft Marcus Smart and draft smart pun. Thanks for the compliments guys and I agree that if he's willing to change the tattoo to #38 we should draft him in a heart beat. If he's willing to change a tattoo to appease a number, he would do a whole lot more to win a game. If I'm Danny the tattoo has to be brought up in draft interviews

I think having Bird's number tattooed on his arm makes him a perfect candidate. ;)

And you know this because of your extensive scouting?
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.
