Not sure. But i am not surprised it is Adams who got under his skin. Adams is the current version of Dennis Rodman, when it comes to getting under the opponent's skin.

Silver is not the blame for Randolph being an idiot and possibly costing his team the series. They have/had a legitimate chance to beat OKC and he does something like that heading into a pivotal game.

Exactly.  But let's keep decrying the NBA for suspending him as though he deserves special treatment and as though this isn't in line with the two other suspensions this postseason.  ::)

And credit to the rookie for showing composure and not reacting.

given the circumstances, stupidity is the only reason i can think of. randolph really hurt his team by not controlling himself.

clearly an act worth a suspension. glad the nba called it.

He turns and looks at Adams, then throws the elbow (likely just a fine) but then punches him (easy suspension).

I completely agree with Randolph's suspension. But at least keep it consistent. No suspensions from Atlanta-Indiana. Mike Scott should have been suspended, for sure.

I guess I wasn't watching close enough.

I saw the elbow live......missed the punch ....

I never really saw what Adams was doing to ZBO.

I am pulling for Fizzles ....but...

Now Memphis has very little chance to win at OKC.

The elbow doesn't bug me so much .....but the closed fist haymaker is a definite suspension.

Randolph picked the worst tine of the season , do or die time to pull this stunt.......

Inexcusable ......he let everybody down at crunch time.

Definitely worthy of a suspension. Not Silver's fault Randolph decided to clock a player in game 6.

Wow just when I thought Adam Silver couldn't get any better, he does something like this and totally unredeemed himself.

Seriously, way to boost those nba ratings by finding a way to not give the underdog any chance NBA. If Randolph is suspended then they should suspend Paul George too.

Yeah, players should just be free to punch other players in the face because the NBA needs to "give the underdog a chance."  That makes a lot of sense.

He shoves Adams. Similar to the Scott, Hill confrontation (only ZBO hits him much much harder). But a "haymaker" or "punch" to the face? For real?

By the description people have given on this board I was expecting a Floyd Matwether haymaker. What I saw was a drastic two handed push, with his right hand going above the neck.

Ejection? Sure. Fine absolutely. A suspension for game 7? No freakin way.

Dumb by zbo. He swung and hit him in the jaw. Okc should have no issue if Conley is as bad as he might be.

Not that it's not suspension-worthy, but I guess I am now thinking Silver is going to take the Roger Goodell route and just go all out on every punishment he can. It makes him look 'tough' and that's all that matters since that's a huge part of American culture nowadays.

Suspension worthy for sure. I don't mind silver suspending him. You can't just hit people in a game.
