OKC's problem is finding scorers to go with Durant and Westbrook.  Ibaka's fine, as a 4th or 5th option on offense but not as a 3rd.  should have either kept Green or Harden or both instead of Westbrook.  Durant, harden, Ibaka, PG with a respectable shot and a center without hands of stone would open up the defenses much better than the lineups they currently have.

Should have done harden and Ibaka for love.

Ibaka's the only reason OKC hasn't given up roughly 700 points per game.
Ibaka's been really great, huge strides in his play the past two years. Two way impact player.

Why would they put something like this in their paper ? He only carried them through the whole regular season.

Scott Brooks is a huge reason for why they lost anyways...

I won't be surprised if Brooks is fired.

Also Westbrook is trying to be the alpha male, but Durant should step up and tell him, that this is his team.

You can't have two alpha males co-exist together peacefully.

They should have kept Harden and Green

Traded Westbrook for a decent center .

I don't know about Green being that important. But a big yes on the Harden vs Westbrook issue.

I said it when the trade went down, and I am still saying it; OKC made a big mistake by trading the best Shooting Guard in the league, and keeping a shoot first Point Guard.

Westbrook needs to be on a team that is built around him as the number 1 guy, and not on a team where he is trying to show up the number one guy on the team.

I had felt at the time that OKC should have tried to trade Westbrook for a Goran Dragic and picks, or a Jrue Holiday and picks, all the while holding on to Harden and Durant.

Something of that nature that would net them a facilitator and future low cost players through the draft, and they already had a solid group of role players. All they really needed was a better choice at center than Perkins.

Its easy to look back and say "I Told You So," but I really always felt that this was a no brainer that the OKC front office really messed up.

Oddly enough, Westbrook and Howard would actually make a great duo. Westbrook is very much an Alpha type offensive player, and Howard is a fantastic second fiddle, while a superb defensive player and rebounder. between the two of them houston could really have had an incredible fast break team. Just my 2 cents.

Who's protecting the rim?  Because it sure isn't Love or Perk.

i'd say westbrook is one of their biggest problems. you got a guy that should be distributing the ball and everyone's waiting for that to happen on offense, so much so that when he does pass the ball they're surprised when they get the ball and their timing is thrown off.

score first PG's are chemistry killers. always have been, always will be. the only guy that was ever successful in this role to my memory was nick van exel and even he was a questionable chemistry player.

I hate this news story.  It could turn Durant off against OKC, and lead him into the arms of the Lakers when he can become a FA.

I wonder if they lose, if they'd finally be willing to pull the trigger on trading Westbrook. Since they have become a contender, his and Durant's on-court chemistry has been a real issue.

Maybe they'd be willing to listen to a Boston offer of Rondo, sign and traded Bradley plus picks and filler.

Evidently it is not the fans, but one newspaper and they have already tried to explain the slam away and apologize for the bad "writing".

Perk's a very good rim protector.
