^You mean when Lowry was flopping all over the place but the Nets were still being called for fouls? The block call against Lowry was correct because he was sliding; charge call that Blatche took also correct because he was stationary. Raptora didn't deserve to win anyway; they just showed up in the last 5 minutes.
Thank you!  Lowry was sliding AND leaning, there is 0 chance Williams got the "benefit of the doubt."  This is why I questioned their intelligence, they were outraged because he looked stationary when the contact happened, but that's obviously not the rule.  It was black and white that he was moving when Deron left the ground.

And on top of that, Lowry's upper body was leaning at least 4 feet to the left of his lower body.  He was basically standing up horizontally.

If you are seriously going to complain after seeing that in slow motion you either don't understand blocking fouls or you just think you're incredibly entitled.

On the other hand I didn't consider that Joey Crawford was a ref.  They might have just been trying to get him to take over the game and give them 26-7 FTs in the 4th quarter or something.   ::)
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Wizards off to a good start, demolishing the Pacers just like how they were supposed to be beaten in the previous round.

Bradley Beal is such an impressive player. Lovely drive and finish at the rim.

Trevor Ariza...man that guy playing like he was back with the Lakers. So much respect to him. Wish we could've gotten our hands on him.

He does so many things I wish Green would do.  I'd take Ariza on my team over Jeff any day of the week.

It's amazing that a 7 footer like Roy Hibbert has zero rebounds so far......

[dang] it. Another excuse for Jeff Green not to be aggressive on the boards and in general.

It's seriously like he switched brains with Hasheem Thabeet or Fab Melo or something.  A guy that big should not be able to spend time on the floor and make such little impact.  He's totally lost right now.

While I like Ariza, I think Green is still very good at what he does.

If I can't get really high level scoring from the SF position, I tend to value corner threes, tough defense, hustle plays, rebounding, and a good combination of size and speed.

In theory, Green should be able to do all of that, but he rarely puts all of that together.  You almost never see Green have a really good game when his shots aren't falling and he's finding lots of other ways to contribute.

Ariza has always struggled when he tries to be more of a featured scorer, but as a complementary guy he just does a ton of things to help his team win.

Green has all of those except maybe hustle. I'm satisfied in what Green brings so far.

Someone had this to say about Green's lack of hustle (and I paraphrase): It's not that Jeff Green doesn't hustle, it's just that what he does doesn't look like it takes a lot of effort. The opposite end of the spectrum is a guy like Ryan Hollins hustles and looks like he hustles a lot but actually accomplishes nothing.

There may be something to that. Honestly the only problem I have with Green is that he wouldn't play closer to the basket and grab a freaking rebound.

... or tough defense, rebounding, or consistently taking advantage of his combination of speed and size.

Unless he's scoring, Green just doesn't often have a noticeable impact on a game.
