I'd like to see MIA play LAC over OKC. I don't think Scotty Brooks is a good enough coach for OKC to have a chance against Miami. I think he'd overplay Perkins and gift Miami too many early leads again like he did last time round.

At least Doc is a strong head coach. DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin still have a fair bit to prove but they have enough talent to cause Miami's interior game problems. CP3 has had some very strong games against MIA too.

Agree with this.

Matchups-wise, I thinks the edge goes to Clips, especially at the 1, 4 and 5.

I feel horrible for Dirk right now.  They're double teaming him every time before he even gets the ball, and just nobody else can do anything with it once he passes.

Well Devin Harris is doing stuff, but you're going nowhere in the playoffs if Devin Harris is your only guy stepping up.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I think it's fair to say that Tony Parker has the best spin move in the history of the league.  When he's in a zone, he's fun to watch.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

This is getting out of hand.

Parker stiff arms Carter, then obviously flops and gets the foul.

I don't like a team's chances against Miami when their best player is the point guard.

Despite the fact that point guards routinely roast the Heat?

the spurs are a great team but i want them to lose so i just don't have to watch them anymore. i don't know what it is about them but i can't get up to watch them play

Really, the only reason I want Spurs to win is because that's the type of play that can hang with Mia. Dallas doesn't look they would give Mia trouble (just because you can beat a team that almost beat Mia doesn't mean you match up well with Mia). I think if Dallas wins here they don't make it any further than the WCF.

I think I have become borderline obsessed with any team I think can beat Mia or at least who (I think) would have a better shot.

I really like Durant but I don't want them to make the finals, it would be another run over by Mia.

Of the west teams I think any of the Spurs, Clips, and Mem (before they lost) could give Mia a run for their money. Mia seems to have the most trouble in the playoffs against defensive grind it out teams. Teams that bang them around.

My obsession is getting out of hand...
I agree, Memphis would have done a great job at that and probably destroyed MIA (while Tony Allen gave LeBron Mr. Unreliable labels).  Unfortunately, I think the Clips are pretty soft on the other hand.  They're going to be a breeze for OKC after what they just went through.

I don't think Clips make it out the West but if they somehow make it, I think they would do a better job of it than OKC would. I think OKC will beat them too but we are talking matchup against Mia. I think out of the two Clips might grind it out with Mia better. OKC is the same as when Mia last faced them, I don't see any difference from last time to this one if they meet again, in '12 when Mia walked through them after we took them to the brink.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

You really don't see a difference between the 2012 Thunder and the 2014 Thunder?  Just for starters, one of the two teams has a vastly-improved Kevin Durant who's going to be named MVP in a day or two. I'll leave it to you to figure out which one that is.  ;)

But seriously, the 2014 Heat are worse than the Heat we saw in 2012; not even just off record alone, but from the actual contributions of the players.  Also, again, the Clippers aren't a grind it out team; that's not really how they win games.  They win by overwhelming you on the offensive end more often than not.

I am sorry, but this is absolutely ridiculous.

You must be the only person in the world who thinks OKC is better without James Harden, who was basically their only closer.

You are also probably the only person who doesn't think Miami is better now that they have actual help (Ray and Birdman, their first interior presence).

You've also got to take into consideration where LeBron is compared to 2 years ago.  He has slowly gone from 50% on FGs to a Jordan-esque 56%.  He also couldn't really shoot yet back in 2012, he was still a bull who you could make things harder on by keeping out of the paint.  He shot 26% on 3s in those playoffs despite attempting 3.7 per game (whereas he's actually above average now).

It's sad how most Raptors fans blame the refs for the entire series. No sportsmanship whatsoever lol. I saw one comment blaming the refs for every single call...smh.
