No good.

What a series.  OKC now joins Indiana on the ropes.

Man, those two series feel so different, though.  With all due respect to the Hawks, that series is all about watching the Pacers fall apart.

The Grizz/Thunder series is two good team locked in a really intense, entertaining battle.

I don't know why Atlanta isn't getting more credit for how well they are attacking Indiana.

They have completely taken Indiana away from their comfort zone. Robbed them of their defensive integrity by pulling Roy Hibbert out of the paint where he can be a dominant shot-blocker and good rebounder and have forced Hibbert to defend in space where he is an ineffective defender + rebounder (since he doesn't have quickness to get back to boards).

The Hawks offense has done a great job of taking Indiana's defensive strengths away from them.

Yep.  Pero Antic and Paul Millsap are not getting enough credit.  Neither is Jeff Teague, for that matter.

This is the Hawks without their Big 3 of Al Horford, Josh Smith, and Joe Johnson. And they easily picked Roy Hibbert apart. Amazing!

Part of Indiana's problem is Vogel's stubbornness to his system. This isn't a series for Hibbert, no matter how much he wants it to be. Copeland is a poor defender, but he's the only 4 they have quick enough for Scott. They have to play small.

What's even worse is that George is playing so well: 23/11/5 on 47/50/79 splits. He's playing about as well as possible.

I really like this Dallas team. They have a fantastic offense built around Dirk Nowitzki + Monta Ellis. So difficult to stop. It's a pity they don't have a better interior defender at center. They'd be a title contender then.

Agreed.

Really looking at this roster and its well built.

Calderon/Ellis/Marion/Dirk all work together very well.

First time in his career Ellis actually has pieces around him that fit as this roster allows him to handle the ball with Calderon and Dirk as excellent spot-up shooters to space the floor and Marion to clean up the glass.

An Omer Asik or Larry Sanders would really round this out.

Edit: Carter is also someone who I thought would really struggle in the twilight of his career but he's changed his game to become a very solid role player.

Jason Kidd doing Jason Kidd stuff.

Toronto running Brooklyn out of the game. Soon they will lose the series.

Nets gotta wake up, they can't play this way in Game 6.

I remember watching Toronto play us earlier in the yr.(I believe it was during one of our worst stretches of the yr.) and being completely unimpressed with them and thought they were only a playoff team because of the state of the eastern conference...well I still feel that way. the nets should be able to beat this team imo. but it doesn't look like that is going to happen.

I honestly think the Nets would be better off having KG or Pierce be player coach.

Splitter's going to allow Tim Duncan another 2-3 years of playing time.....great development from him.

Sometimes they play that way, sometimes they look like last year's Nuggets.

More like huge plays from Dirk in the 4th quarter, but that Tony Parker 3 seriously silenced them.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

If only we had a quality center during KG's tenure here. After Perk left of course.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

Nenad Krstic would have been ideal if he had stayed  :(
