Im starting to buy into the idea of gordon... with our coaching staff we can get the kid a good shot. Remember how rondos shot improved?

Rondo
Bradley
Gordon

Sorry to hear about WCS. I did not want to draft him, but that devalues our 18th pick. Am surprised to hear, actually, given the dearth of big men in this draft.

If we win one of the last two games, seriously doubt Gordon will be available when we draft.  Will probably go in the top 5-6.  Randle will be available, but we should not go near him, especially if we are going to play a line up composed of the other 4 guys you list above.

Pretty big surprise: Montrezl Harrell is coming back to Louisville.

Doesn't bother me.  We don't need another undersized PF / C.

If he was projected in the top 18, it hurts the value of our 2nd pick. If not, it doesn't.

Jabari officially says he isn't going on an LDS Mission.  So it's either school or the NBA and he hasn't ruled out either, but at least that is out of the way.
Poor Jabari... he could have played for a Mormon leader in Boston... he could have played for the Mormon epicenter in Utah... but unfortunately he's a Top 3 pick and those teams will likely be picking #4 (Utah) and #6 (Boston).

Still a pretty significant chance one of those teams ends up in the top 3.
That's true...if they stick at #4 and #6, that's a 21% chance for Boston to land a Top 3 and a 38% chance for Utah to end up in the Top 3....
Did you know that the chances of the top three lottery slots all getting top 3 picks are about the same as the 7th slot getting the number one pick? In other words, pretty unlikely.

Do you mean the top 3 getting them in that order, or each of them landing in the top 3?

Each of them landing in the top three irregardless of order. The odds of an exact conditional order is much lower.

Sure Rondo's shot improved... after about 5 years in the NBA.  I hope that Gordon can polish up his offensive game a little sooner than that, because Bradley isn't going to light the world on fire with his offense.  The Celtics real weakness right now is a scoring Shooting Guard and Center.

I think we have a good chance of coming up with a really good big.  I'd rather take Vonleh over Gordon if we have a shot at him.  Gordon is very athletic, but when will his offensive game come around?

Sorry to hear about WCS. I did not want to draft him, but that devalues our 18th pick. Am surprised to hear, actually, given the dearth of big men in this draft.

I would not want WCS with our second 1st rounder anyways.  No big loss.

Parker announces tomorrow, apparently.  It's better for the Celts if he declares, but I'm hoping he remains at Duke.

Why's that?  Are you a Duke fan?

I don't really have a favorite NCAA team, but I don't mind Duke.  I just like watching good college basketball, and a Duke team with Parker and Okafor (plus the rest of the recruiting class) could be special.

Anybody else surprised by Robinson? In the second round in many mocks.

Wow, Kentucky is going to have a lot of centers next season.  Lee and Johnson came on very late in the season, and I think they have high prospect center coming in as a freshman.
