Better to rehab as part of an NBA program taking care of you, and your secure instead of waiting around to get hurt play. N college ball .  College won't pay the bills .

Apparently he has a stress fracture in his back .  I'm not an orthopedist, but that doesn't sound too good.

I do think that whomever drafts Embiid would be wise to think of him as a backup for his first year.  He has a lot to learn, and he probably needs to prevent this from becoming a chronic issue.

Bad news. He is def going to drop like noel did last year or even further.

Maybe we can buy a pick , draft him later and have sullys surgeon fix him up. What a steal that would be

Its a good risk to take as we can afford to spare some future 1sts anyways

Absolute lowest he's going to drop is 5th. No way he falls into "buy a pick territory"
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

I read that Drummond had same injury last year. Def hasn't effected his game. I hope he drops to c's but I' not counting on it.

For the record my celtics big board
1 embiid
2/3 Parker-wiggens ((can't decide, but I find humor in a second "chief" (chief wiggens  :))
4 Vonleh ( a great second option if ainge wants a center)
5?

Makes Embiid a super high risk pick. Wouldn't want to miss on "the next Olajuwon." But Olajuwon didn't get injured at Phi Slama Jamma.

Let's be realistic, there have been very, very few foreign players who picked up the game late, and still managed to perform at the highest of levels. He started playing three years ago. He has a bad back. He is a very risky choice for a top pick.
