I really wish we had packaged Bradley + Bass + The Philly Pick for Asik or something

the fact of the matter is, I just feel uncomfortable resigning Bradley to an extension due to his inability to stay healthy. It is not worth tying up the cap to him because he is likely to not play a full season if he hasn't even been able to when he's young. It's likely he'll be more injured when he's older

I really think he's just a glorified hustle player at the end of the day and I think he's really replaceable. Especially if we can replace him with a player who can actually hit a shot

Yes he's averaging 16 or something this season or something, but at a terrible efficiency rate. It is just not beneficial to the team to keep him long-term.

We should've traded him when we had the chance.

Yeah......Ab's being hurt all the time is not helping him.

I'm to the point of trading him........not really missing his bombing away like Crawford style .

He doesn't pass well OR enough ........so those two things feed on each other......I don  'to see him being better .......ball handling, passing skill and instinct ....had to teach if he doesn't already get it .

Think we d be better off looking past him in the long run.

Obv, all you need is one team to be stupid, but given his injury history, I seriously doubt anyone is giving Bradley a big deal. MLE tops, I'd say. For that reason, I think he stays here.

I'd love him back at the right price.  Very unhappy with his lack of ball movement and the long twos this year.  I see him as a very good defensive sg off the bench.  I'd like Ainge to find a 6'5" sg who has legit three point range to stretch the floor.
I see bradley as a poor mans Dumas but without the handle.  Ab needs to work on three point shooting and ball skills.  Might make sense for him to play summer ball as a point guard only.  For the skills mind you not position.

He can't dunk like Richard Dumas.

I think he will be back on a small, short deal.  To many issues to get the long term deal he wants.

  He probably meant Dumars.

If we're going by stats Dumars' career defensive rating is 110 and Bradley's is 105. They also average the same steals per game.
You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into.

If we are going by stats Larry Bird and Randy Brown are also both 3 time NBA champions.  Lets not get ahead of ourselves.

All I know is, I remember a year and a half ago, I made a comment about Avery Bradley and questioned all the love he was getting from everyone, saying he wasn't as good as some made him out to be.

I had also said that one of the reasons why Bradley received so much adulation is because of that Dwyane Wade block he made against the Heat on that Sunday afternoon game back in 2012.

There was another poster who said something in a condescending and rude way along the lines of "you don't know anything. You only watch the Celtics on prime-time games. Anyone with a brain can see Bradley is a good player.  Well, almost anyone with a brain."

How did that work out?

I always thought Bradley is a good player, not a great player

Ainge is gonna let Bradley hit the market and if his value is not as high as he thinks then he can match any contract and possibly sign him to a reasonable contract... Remember DA offered him somewhere around 7 mil per year ... if other teams are not going to spend that then they can get him back at a bargain...

To the people who dont like him remember he is only 23 and his numbers have been increasing every year...if the celtics can get him back at 7 per year im all for it

Celtics fan for life.
