Maybe it's my imagination, but it appears to me Rondo has better muscle definition since past years. While watching the game last night I thought maybe I was seeing things that are not really there.  Then, I observed a close camera shot showing him crouching slightly while resting his hands on his thighs. His muscle definition stood out remarkably. I never recalled him having this much definition. I believe he has been as bulky..maybe even more-so, just not as well defined. Has anyone else noticed a difference in his upper body physique this year?

Yea he's definitely bigger . Last night I thought we had resigned Pietrus, because from a side angle he looks very similar body wise .

The first game he came back and I saw him for the first time i said, "Dude Rondo is huge." (Compared to how skinny Rondo was before.)

He definitely worked on his upper body during his rehab that's for sure.

At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Unless he starts growing tumors on his face like LeRoid did let's not get too carried away with the ped comments. Yes he is bigger but its been a process for years now. Maybe he wants to throw Wade into the stands at the right moment. I'm all for it.

HGH?  I don't believe it's fair to make this sort of insinuation w/o some sort of proof.  He has had a year off to get in better shape.

So it's ok to suggest that LeBron uses HGH but not ok to say it about Rondo, even though we have exactly the same amount of proof for either player's use?

Interesting.

I heard Rondo skipped his crossfit workout today to watch spongebob with his nephews. Is he really committed to the rebuild? Skip Bayless says, maybe not, after the break.

Actually you are free to say anything you want. But my opinion is that Lebron grew a benign tumor on his jaw that had to be removed, and since those kind of tumors grow from hgh use, yeah he is more likely than Rondo to have been a user.

He's been adding muscle for some time now - if you're super interested, you can probably go through pics of him year to year and see the gradual changes. I'm assuming the new definition is directly related to his ACL rehab. You typically would do a significant amount of lower body strengthening to take pressure off of your knees, and some athletes opt to add on upper body strengthening so that they're getting a complete work out and nothing is being neglected.

Its also worth noting that Rondo himself said the injury made him more committed to taking care of his body and his eating habits changed drastically.

I think he's been bulking up steady since Wade's assault and battery in 2011.
