I don't know.  really depends on the what Danny is able to pull off.  If there's another year of losing/rebuilding then Pierce will probably sign out in LA with the Clippers.

however, if Danny can maneuver around and build another contender (Rondo/Love/Melo?) then Pierce would have to seriously consider returning to Boston to be the 6th man.  Of course Danny would need a couple guys who can play defense after Rondo/Melo/Love and old man Pierce.  But it's possible that Pierce comes back.

As far as KG goes.  I highly doubt he comes back next season.  I doubt Pierce/KG are back in Brooklyn.  They are having a tough year.  better as of late, but not contenders.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Garnett is probably going to retire.

As for Pierce, I definitely think if DA can bring in Love, and some good pieces, I don't see why not. But if we can't, I can see Pierce wanting to play for a contender for a ring. And once hes finally close to retiring, I can see him coming back to the Celtics on a one-day contract.
