Another speciality player........great one ....you acquire once you have the ...pair of elite scorers or stars already on your team.
This team needs way too many other people first....he is for a team already completed
Getting the pair of stars , draft, trade or how ever is first crisis and get a decent center is just critical , we have no defensive presence under the boards .
Danny's draft pick could answer a lot of questions including Rondos return.
I actually think he's got the potential to be a superstar. I'll reply to the other quote below with some stats...
Give him nothing.
He is only played good due to the fact that he is playing on the Pacers. Put him on the Celtics and see him decline very fast. He isnt a "star" player as many of you guys make him.
Not sure what you're basing this argument on?
Actually you could argue that on the Pacers he's being held back because of the strength of his team and Paul George becoming the man.
Compare him with Avery Bradley...
Avery:
Age 23, height 6'2
*13.7 attempts per game @ 43% FG
*14.3 points per game
*1.4 assists, 4 rebounds,34% 3pt FG
30.6 mins per game
Lance:
Age 23, height 6'5
*11 attempts per game @ 49.7% FG
*14 points per game
*5 assists, 7 rebounds,34% from 3 point land
35 mins per game
Lance plays 5 more minutes per game, but his efficiency is much better, as are his passing skills and court vision. He's got the ability to play PG through SG to SF because of his versatility.
Give Lance 18 attempts a game and he should score at least 18 points. His size and length mean he can guard the 2 and 3 quite well and his passing is where he stands out as a 2 guard.
Like Avery, he's improved substantially each season and shows far more promise in the long run.
There's belief that he's got superstar potential...the kind of hope we had for Avery Bradley some time ago before his shoulders forced him out in 2012.
But yeah, I dunno what you're basing your analysis on.
