At this point after all the rumors, I can't imagine too many people being surprised if Rondo is eventually traded.

Yeah, it looks like the writing is on the wall. Having Rondo walk for nothing would be bad, but paying him max money would be far worse.

Yup. No way Rondo is a max player.

I don't think even Rondo supporters (which I consider myself one) would say he's a max player.  I could see him getting a deal worth 2 million more a year for 4 years but not a max deal (unless his FT shooting and outside shot continues to improve where he's a legit 20+ a game scorer)

My understanding is Stevens would have no issue playing two point guards at the same time, so I don't think Exum is mutually exclusive with Rondo.  Exum might make the departure of Bradley more likely than anything else, but you could also split 96 minutes pretty well between the three of them. 

I also don't think the C's would take Exum #1 overall, for those bemoaning the neglect of Embiid or Parker.  The C's are not currently favored for a top 3 pick, so it'd behoove Danny to know what the other options are.

Exum is more of a combo guard sort of like a Russel Westbrook.. Im not sure why everyone on the board is hating on him he is one of the smoothest & sleekiest players behind only Wiggins.. IMO he is a lock in the top 4 picks

We also heard Danny "loved" Giannis Antentokoumpo.  Didn't end up taking him though.

After Antetokoumpo I don;t think Ainge will pass on international prospects so easy.

I don't think Danny ever passes on any prospects "easily".  He just liked Olynyk better for some reason.  Probably because Giannis was so raw, and had so little film.  It is really hard to project someone like that.

I think he's near a lock for a top 4 pick.  I also think Embiid, Wiggins, and Parker are as well, which means only one team has to defy expectations for a player to fall to 5 or lower.  Being the third or fourth best player in the draft does not necessarily mean you'll go third or fourth.
