They just said no one wants to come to boston, even rondo's best friend Josh Smith chose detroit over Boston ......

Except Boston had no cap space you morons..

Saying to trade rondo just so we can tank and get a great trade chip in the draft....

I am fine with tanking , but they just want to give away rondo because he can't be "the man" on a contender.

So let's trade away our best trade chip for any mediocre package , who will no doubt have more value on draft day so we can get another trade chip (top 5 pick). We can have both you fools...

They have no idea about the cap, they have no idea about building a roster


How do they have jobs again? Just by being trolls?

Watching Felger and Mazz make me want to stick a sharp knife in my ears.

These guys are idiots, buffoons, clowns, jokes, hacks, ect.

Felger and mazz really have no Basketball knowledge...before the celtics games came to 98.5 they REFUSED to talk celtics and when they did he always started it by "we will have to service our green teamers for abit"

now they have to talk celtics because their station carries it...and its usually horrible

Yeah, it's interesting how Felger tries to claim that he has credibility on the issue of the NBA yet every time they talk about the Celtics there's at least one rant about "this is why the NBA blows" and "Celtics fans are delusional."

Atlanta chose not having Josh Smith over having him, and it looks like Detroit is coming to that conclusion as well.

Listening to them talk basketball, or most anything, can be nauseating. They really try hard on that show to be negative and critical in every aspect, and pass it off as having an edge.

Felger doesn't claim credibility when it comes to basketball.  You need to understand he's a troll when it comes to the NBA.  He does it on purpose.  Because it riles you guys up.  He doesn't care for the NBA and isn't shy about it.  If you're looking for legitimate basketball coverage you aren't going to find it on sports radio in New England.  It sucks, but it's the truth.

On the other hand, I'm a BIG fan of Felger and think his opinions are generally very good when it comes to football/baseball/hockey.  If anything I don't care for Mazz...otherwise known as Felger's yes-man.

I know Felger knows nothing about basketball, but he runs an entertaining show. Also, to a certain extent he hits the nail on the head with our many Celtic's fans overvalue their players, I just don't think that is specific trait of only Celtic fans, most fans of every team do.

Also its hard to argue that ending up with the 8th pick in the draft is worse than the top 3, it obviously is and if we're this bad already why not get a little worse by dumping Green/Bass?

Not for nothing the fact you post on a message board makes you no more qualified than felger. While I disagree with the majority of what he says he says things merely to  get a rise out of people and clearly he's good at it. In actuality he's a pretty smart guy and Id be surprised if he doesn't know more about the nba then he leads on. How is him saying FAs dnt wanna come here and more acinine some of the absurd trade ideas posted here. Pretty easy solution if you dnt like what he has to say don't listen to him.

This. Its amazing how many sports announcers get jobs and keep them. Especially in the Boston area. I mean how many aspiring communications personas must there be in the Boston area? And thiiiiiis is who they pay? Its never made any sense to me.

there was one show where he was going off about how rediculous it is that the C's retire so many numbers and might retire KG's
