I love Rondo. But I wouldn't want to get rid of Sully.

Rondo.

Followed by Klynyk and Bradley.

Wow really?  Kelly and Avery ahead of Sullinger?

Nothing against Sully.  I love his game, but I think he could have some very good trade value that might be worth cashing in on in the right deal.  Kelly, on the other hand, probably doesn't have a ton of trade value, but I happen to think he's going to get a heck of a lot better.  Avery . . . I just love that kid's grit.  He's a Celtic.

Our 2014 draft pick.

Interesting reasoning.

Avery seems like a hard worker but I appreciate production and skill more than anything else.

Sully is young, he grabs tons of rebounds, and he puts up points in a variety of crafty, entertaining ways.  I'm looking forward to when we finally get to see him play next to a tall, long, reasonably athletic defensive center.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

The fact that you can make a reasonable case for more than one players is a good thing, future-wise.

IMO, Sullinger and Olynyk because they are the players on the roster who fit Brad Stevens' system the best. Bigs who have high BBIQ and can pass and shoot.

I wrote on another thread how Stevens like players who can pass, shoot from 3, and aren't ball stoppers. All 3 of these seem to to be AB's weakness. If the rumors are true, Bradley could get up to 9 mil next year from some team meaning his value must be high. I think we're going to see a draft day trade including AB.

The 2014 draft pick is who you're building around. The only one on the roster that has any real long term value is Sully. Rondo is gone by the end of next year either by trade or leaving as a free agent.

Still have to go with Rondo.  Sully is nice...but what's really his upside, another Carlos Boozer?  That's a very nice player, but as the Bulls will tell you, not a centerpiece of a championship team.

While Rondo has his flaws, there have been times when he's been on the same court as LeBron James and (at least for one game or one quarter) has been the best player on the court.  In a league where dominant superstars always seem to prevail, I'd hesitate very strongly before giving up the closest semblance we have to one.
