why did Rondo come back?

why are we battling to beat Philly in Philly. There is no reason to go all out in these games and risk Rondo re-injuring his knee.

How does winning this year help the Celtics? I challenge anyone that is against tanking to explain how winning this year helps the Celtics in the long run?

Boston has not attracted level 1 free agents so we are compelled to build through the draft and trades. Winning meaningless games will set this franchise back years.

Holding Rondo out when he wants to play and is physically able is probably a good way to encourage him to leave when he becomes a free agent.

Brad Stevens holding Rondo in that circumstance makes him look like a puppet with Danny Ainge's hand up his rear and he will never be looked at with the sort of respect that will make players want to play in Boston.

I'm not really going to worry until the deadline... only 5 games left.    I think a move is necessary... either to win now or win later.  If we just stay as-is, I'll have a problem with it.

So when Pierce was still a Celtic and he said he wouldn't mind testing FA because he never done it before, he wasn't still the captain?Ok sure,and I'm quite sure you considered Pierce a good captain.
