It will be low ball offers for a while until he answers/proves against the two major question marks...
1)Will his athleticism be the same? Remember what happened to KG after his knee went? Rondo's injury has a better success rate overall but it's still a huge 'what if' for a point guard.
2)Is he an All Star level/ top 25 NBA player without KG and Pierce to help steer the ship?
We've never seen him without being surrounded by very good to elite level jumpshooters.
These team mates also attracted attention from defenses and forced opposing defenses to spread the floor and not over help.
Now there's not really anyone else to worry about other than Sully and perhaps Green- but they're not as good as KG, Pierce, Ray etc... How will Rondo cope being the major target of defenses without his sidekicks?
The second point is less important because whoever takes him will surround him with shooters anyway- but it's important because it lowers his market value when his assists go from 13 a game to 8 or 9 without these guys around.
Doesn't look like his own jumpshot has gotten better at this stage, but again, it's super early and he'll need at least 2-3 more months. His knee would be affecting his jumpshot too, so until it's 90% I don't think we'll see any real 'equal or better value' kind of offers- just lowballers.
Joe Dumars does have a habit of making stupid decisions though so we'll see

Problem is they don't have anything we want other than Drummond and Caldwell Pope, make Gigi Datome.
