Parker.

He just seems to have "it" to me.  I think he'll come into the league and immediately be one of the better scorers at this position, and he'll rebound well.  The defense and passing will be a work in progress.

Drafting him would solve the biggest problem for this team's rebuilding effort, which is finding that central focus for the offense. 

Embiid would be my next choice, because he would solve the other major problem, which is finding a defensive anchor with good size.

Getting either of those guys would make the challenge of rebuilding this team into a highly competitive group a heck of a lot easier.


I still believe in Wiggins, too, but I think he may be more of a "do a little of everything and dominate with athleticism" sort of player, especially at first.

That's why I'd add the top 3 pick to Rondo & Sully and then start fishing for that "big fish". 

Although, I could easily see that happening in the summer of 2015 instead of this year.

Tempted to put Embiid 3rd, because I'm scared of raw big men for a variety of reasons, but he's pretty special.  Parker really needs to work on ball security, and involving his teammates (nearly 4 times more turnovers as assists in conference play.  Ack!)

Absolutely get that player to agree to re-sign or you just don't do it.  Honestly, I don't know who that player is.  I hope that DA knows.  Not sure if it would be Love or not?  I wish we had playoff experience to review for him.  I mean we are dreadful on offense.  We need someone who can score at an elite level and can develop with our team.

I agree 100% about parker.  He is an elite scorer.  It is exactly what we need.

I worry about Embiid not quite living up to the hype.  I don't feel that way about parker.

So does everyone think that Parker is more of a 3 or a 4 in the NBA?  Is he quick enough to play D on NBA level wing players?

Then I see Randle, Smart, Gordon etc; however, I'm not sure how these guys fit into the current C's roster so would look to include some other assets and trade up for one of the top 4.

For me, Rondo and Sully are the 2 that we need to hang onto and everybody else fits around them. I'd like to keep Green but if we draft Wiggins or Parker, he becomes expendable.

I truly believe that Wiggins will be a franchise player.  I think he will be a Kevin Durant type impact player.  I would truly hate to miss out on that.  I like Embiid a lot but I really don't know if he is a sure thing.  To me he is more of a gamble and I don't believe the center position is as important as it once was.  Of course these are just my best guesses like everyone else.  Every time I look back at past drafts it is amazing who turned out great and who just never lived up to the hype.

And I know a lot of people are in love with Parker's game but I don't know. I feel like his ceiling is lower than the others.
